Week 4- Facebook Ads

Facebook Ads are a great way to promote your business and as Professor Kelsey mentioned, "That allows you to run ads to get people off the social platform". Because in reality that is what you want for your business is to be able to reach new customers through your own pages, and allow for growth outside of the socials. However, the return on investment (ROI) is really important because if the return is not greater than what you spending then it is not worth it, and might be in your best interest to look for other ways of marketing or investing your money.

For example, if I were to start promoting my business page to gain more traction on my website or my Depop, where I usually sell clothes, for now, I would clearly be able to see how my ROI would be based on my sales. I would probably have a small budget just to test and see how well it does and who it is able to attract as far as customers' location. However, as strongly as I believe Facebook Ads are a great way for promoting one's business, I do not believe it is the best way to promote clothes businesses anymore. I think there are better options to do that in this day and age. But depending on the company and people you may want to reach I think with the right budget and marketing Facebook is a great way to promote one's business.
