week 3- Making a Facebook page
Facebook is a resource most people skip over nowadays. When told we had to make a Facebook page about anything we wanted or however many pages we wanted I decided to do it on something I'm pretty interested in which is clothes. I found it to be super easy and quick to make this page because of how Facebook sets it up. It seems quite easy to be able to follow other pages and people you might know and because of how easy it is to share across different platforms it allows for more visits to your page. Even though I have never really had experience making a page or using it outside of just interacting with friends, it had made me feel that Facebook might be the new way into the business world.
I decided to create a Facebook page to match the already existing Instagram about clothes and fashion because that is something I am interested in. I created Instagram a while ago but never started posting until this summer starting in June. I have gained a small following so it is a good start to make a Facebook page with it as well. While I have not figured out everything I am starting to learn what people like more and what shows up on their feed more. Because I was able to connect both pages through the META it'll be a tad easier to share across both platforms. I plan on growing more by summer next year and have a lot more promotions and sales either locally or through an online presence.
Here below is the logo me and my sister designed, the background is actually a collage of different comic books that I cut up and have on my wall in my room. So, I thought it would definitely be cool to add that to the background.
