Week 7- Social Media Insight
Facebook insights is a great way for small businesses and accounts to be able to see all types of different data concerning their engagements on posts, their followers, and many other forms of data. While I am not as familiar with Facebook insights, I am with Instagram insights but they are just about the same now, and both use "Meta". I would use the insights on my Instagram account to track when I had the most traffic during what days, times, and what people liked to see.
After making the same exact posts on my Instagram and then posting them to Facebook I was able to see exactly how well I was doing. To my surprise, it did not look too good in comparison to my Instagram engagement, I will add a photo of the comparison to them both here:
As we can see I had a completely different amount of people see my Instagram posts rather than on Facebook. But why is that, I personally think in order to grow on Facebook you need to engage with a lot more people and invite them to your page. While you do have to do that on Instagram as well it is a lot easier to be able to share posts and reach the people I intended. And while I did not receive a lot of engagement on Facebook, I was still able to understand the use of Insights and how important everything is when it comes to posting and when to post. It even gives you the option to run like an AD with your own post which is called a "boosting post", I might have to give it a try one time and see how well that certain post does.
