Week 9- Getting Certified!

While I have not become certified just yet, I plan to do it very soon! I have also come to the realization that LinkedIn is a social media to be able to present yourself in a very professional way. It allows you to showcase everything you have in your previous work experience or skills to new employers and show them why you deserve that job. After completing the certification I plan on adding it to my skills on LinkedIn. 

I have had a LinkedIn account for a while now, but I just never took the extra steps in adding more skills and work experience to my actual profile. Now that I am finding out that this is actually really helpful and useful in the workplace, I plan on using it a lot more and adding anything and everything I can to make me look as professional as I can. I plan on connecting with a lot more people and just seeing how they have their page and maybe adding a few to my own profile.
